Thank god it's Friday! Another week put to rest, and another Friday afternoon blowing up with fresh new jams! Oh release day, how I love thee! Top of my list today is this new track from our boy Shaun Frank! How have we never done a show with this dreamy legend? I'm working on changing that real quick - you might be seeing his name on a BB show poster real soon! Haha! I digress ... holy mac! "Addicted (Ft. Violet Days)" is bananas good! Shaun has a fantastic way of combining those luscious bouncy pop beats with sexy dance floor feels, and the vocals from Violet Days are on point! I know this one will light up the club and cause everyone to make out with each other! What to say about Shaun Frank? The man needs no introduction, but alas this is a music blog and I'm here to scavenger tidbits of information for you. Did you know Shaun co-wrote The Chainsmoker's hit "Closer Ft. Halsey" with Louis the Child's Freddy Kennett? Boom there you go ha ha! Just in case you've lived on mars for the last year and haven't been paying attention, the Toronto bred hit maker steamrolled 2015 and early 2016 with breakouts like the festival circuit staple with Oliver Heldens in "Shades of Grey," the smooth ode to the city of angels in "La La Land" with DVBBS, most recently his collab with the legend Steve Aoki in "Dope Girlz," and now "Let You Get Away."

True to form, Shaun has put together another emotional-meets-banger record fusing excellent songwriting and production in a way that only Shaun can do best. Ashe's brilliance shines through with ease who's becoming quite a staple on our pages (check out the Hypem #1 hit "Recognize" from Win and Woo). As you were being lulled into a trance by Ashe's verses, the drop flies in and sweeps you off your feet with hornlike synths, deep sub and trap like percussion. Flash forward to the end it sounds like we have splashes of actual horns come in after the final buildup just adding to the epicness of this already ginormous hit. Tack another ace into Shaun's musical deck of cards, this cut is gonna get played at a lot of festivals across the world. I've been affectionately calling Los Angeles LA LA Land for years, it's a truly unique place that has its own quirks and zany attributes that I think are just summed up too perfectly by that name. When DVBBS and Shaun Frank put out this record I was instantly hooked by the music, and I always love any track that features the lovely Delaney Jane. Mahalo has brought his deep sensibilities to reworking this hit and has done so with style combining growling bass lines, entrancing synth melodies, piano and guitar into a remix that's perfect for every house set. Mahalo's been on fire recently grinding and putting out a bunch of great music. This remix comes from the prestigious Spinnin' Label, but is also available as a free download here.

Vibes vibes vibes! Los Angeles duo NIGHTOWLS just dropped this saucy banger for all the Friday fun, and I'm feeling this one! I only recently became friends with these legends, but our short lived acquaintance has blossomed into so much love - I just want to smooch their faces all the time! NIGHTOWLS layer on smooth future dance vibes with huge bass beats in this remix of "La La Land ft. Delaney Jane" by DVBBS & Shaun Frank. DVBSS has come together with the top line aces Shaun Frank and Delaney Jane for a chiller indie dance record that has a ridiculously catchy hook in "La La Land." The track starts minimally with light piano work, pads and vocals eventually rising to a bobbing chorus with vocal splices, energetic drumming and melodic synth stabs. SNBRN x SHAUN FRANK x DR. FRESCH - THE NEW ORDER (1DAFUL REMIX)

I kinda feel like I have nothing interesting to say tonight, and if you follow BB ... you already know I don't give a shit what you think I think, I really just want to tell stories about my friends and get you to listen to their music. Like his track for example - so many homies here I don't even have the time or energy to explain the multiple levels of hangs and friendships - just know we tite and all of them are amazing music makers! My new loves 1DAFUL (who are the best thing since sliced bread) karate chopped this track to bring us a rad remix of "The New Order" by SNBRN x Shaun Frank X Dr. Fresch. [PREMIERE] SHAUN FRANK & KSHMR - HEAVEN (KISO REMIX)

I had the pleasure of watching Shaun Frank get down last night at Mix Magazine's lab in downtown LA, and today I get to premiere Kiso's new remix of Shaun and KSHMR's angelic tune "Heaven." Kiso is owning what I'm dubbing as chill guitar house and this latest release is another breed of exactly that. Kiso has been steadily gaining more and more support for his releases recently getting spins on SiriusXM's BPM station while racking up hundreds of thousands of plays on Soundcloud. Just happy to say that Beautiful Buzzz has been a part of this process.
